Aramis Gutierrez's oil paintings unload personal and historic conflict on an epic scale. His storytelling equates sun blisters and love pains, labyrinthine woods and Evolutionary Psychology.
Aramis Gutierrez studied at Cooper Union where he received his degree in painting. He has exhibited in New York, Philadelphia, Miami, Istanbul, and elsewhere. He lives and works in Miami, Florida, and took part in the Studio Residency Program at the Deering Estate at Cutler, 2007-2008. Gutierrez has shown previously with the gallery in the solo show Even Now, in the Final Hour of My Life, I'm Falling in Love Again and the group show Real Time.
